A little about me
Hello! It's me, Christine D and I'm here with you to share stories of my lived experiences, and the stories of others, who are leaning into their authentic selves to create the life they want.
It is my experience that self doubt, fear and limitations in our minds hold us back from doing the great things we were meant for. In this space, I share the proof that we don't have to live the life we have been taught to live, but we can in fact flip the script on our own lives and do things differently. Here you will hear from me and others, who have leaned into doing what they want, despite the fear that tries to hold them back.
There is no limit to what you can create, and we are here to show you that you can not only dream it, but you can create it too.

This is a tough one to share, and I'm pretty sure my most vulnerable solo-episode to date. There's a myth out there that once you "make it" your challenges will be over. Or that once you overcome something, you're free from it forever. You know, once you get the job, once you find the relationship, or once you find the house - or in this case, once you find yourself on a path to your most authentic self - that somehow the old you or the triggers from the old you won't show up anymore...
In this episode, I am debunking this idea and sharing a recent, and very humbling experience, that reminded me that being human means imperfection, making mistakes, screwing up - AND it also means more opportunities to shift your mindset, learn a new path, or be provided with a mirror to see just how far you've come.
Thank you for taking the time to listen. I think you will really see yourself in this episode.

If you know anything about me, you know I love supporting other women, and collaborating to lift each other up, and that's exactly what Kristi and I did in this episode together. One interview hosted on two podcasts! How's that for efficiency?
Have a listen as we share about our journeys to becoming more of who we are, and leaving behind the version of ourselves who used to long to fit in.
You can find Kristi on Instagram at @mamatohandb and her podcast Imperfect Creatrix on Spotify, or anywhere you listen to podcasts.

For this episode, you get me solo and I'm keeping it real with some talk about our old friend, perfectionism. Funnily enough, I have never really thought of myself as a perfectionist. I figured as someone who was willing to jump into things, and not be critically detail oriented, I didn't fit the profile. But as I build my awareness muscle, I realize there are many ways I fall into perfectionist tendencies. I think you'll find this a pretty relatable episode.

In my conversation with Jules Hare, we uncover some of my experience working with her as a healer and the progress I've made on my journey to be more of myself as a result.
Jules is an Intuitive Therapist who helps people to reconnect with their intuition. The work she does allows her clients to connect with their playful side, and lean more on what's inside instead of seeking what is outside. With less focus on external validation, and more on what we feel, we are able to connect with what we truly need and begin to create more confidence in who we are, and make significant spiritual growth happen in our lives leading to greater fulfillment.

Join me to listen to Amanda's story about her experience as she moved through making big changes in her life. In this open-hearted conversation with Krista Swetman, we talk about how Krista realized she wasn't having a whole lot of fun in her personal life. Although she loves the business she is in, she recently realized that she always makes time for her work, but doesn't really give herself time to enjoy and explore the fun side of life that she is craving.
Krista is taking some time to rebrand herself and hopes to find a better balance between her small business and her personal life and live her best life by following the tugs within her. I hope you'll listen to this very real and raw conversation that I'm sure many others have felt themselves on too.
You can find Krista's comfort wear for the lake and beyond through her small business, 'Here on Lake Huron' via Instagram and Facebook at @Hereonlakehuron or visit www.hereonlakehuron.com

Whether you are someone who has dabbled in the world of spirit and psychics or not, there's so much in this conversation for you. In this chat with Kerrilynn Shelhorne we talk about what it was like for Kerrilynn to see dead people at the young age of 5/6 (and never told anyone about), to how she came around to harnessing this ability later in life after trying so hard to NOT to make a career out of it. We have a great discussion that will truly open your heart and mind if you allow it.
You can find Kerrilynn on FB at @Psychicmediumkerrilynnshellhorn on IG at @theoriginalkerrilynnshellhorn and through her website at Kerrilynnshellhorn.com
Please note, that in my voiceover during the podcast where I share about Kerrilynn's handles, I spelled her name out loud so you could easily find her in all the places and I accidentally spelled her last name wrong - in the world of scammers, names spelled correctly is so important. I have the proper spelling in the handles tagged and written above. xoxo

Our path in life isn't always clear, and we sometimes find ourselves flailing around trying to figure out how the pieces fit together. Many of us being hard on ourselves for not knowing what we want or who we are. BUT when we reflect on the choices we made and string them together, we can see the connection. Have a listen as Jen and I talk about her journey and how the random pieces came together to be not so random after all and had her creating the Barntique.

Break ups aren't just for romantic relationships, they exist in the work place and with friends too. It's not easy, letting a friend go, and is certainly not something I take lightly either. In this episode I speak about my recent experience breaking up with a friend after noticing some really big shifts in how I felt in her company. As we grow, our relationships can change, and I hope that sharing this episode with you is helpful should you ever be faced with making this kind of decision, and how to acknowledge it's time to let someone you love go.
Thanks for listening.

Alicia and I spoke about how she found herself choosing a career in graphic design out of high school. Although it seemed like the most fitting for her creative skills at the time, she spent years trying to shake off this feeling that it wasn't satisfying her. Like many of us, she continued to build her skills and create a successful career for herself, but after 20 years she eventually followed the tugs inside her to seek out something that would ignite the spark she had been missing.
Have a listen to our insightful chat about her journey as she left her career to try her hand at what brings her so much joy.
You can find Alicia as she paves her new journey as a potter by following her on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok through her handle @Aliciasanchez.pottery
In our chat she mentions and upcoming spring pottery sale happening on May 6 from 11-4pm at the Corner Studio in Kitchener. If pottery is your jam, you'll want to go and seek her and her fabulous creations, along with other local potters from the area.
